Gerald Davies has been a resident of Porthcawl since 1966, a dedicated family man; he has three grown-up children all living in Porthcawl and six grandchildren. Gerald has always involved himself in community issues and is presently a governor of Porthcawl Comprehensive School, member of the Civic Trust, member of the Rest Bay Management Group, life member of the Rest Bay Lifeguard Club and a panel member of the very successful Rest Bay/ Nottage PACT group.

Gerald has served as a Town Councillor for over 20 years and a Borough Councillor for 14 years. Gerald's years of experience as a senior councillor and his proven track record of success at town and county borough level make him the ideal person to represent Rest Bay and Porthcawl during this crucial period of regeneration.
