Mike Simmonds was born on the Isle of Man
and has lived in Bridgend for many years. He is married with two
daughters and four grandchildren.
Mike was elected County Borough Councillor for Pendre in a by-election
in 2000. Since then he has endeavoured to represent all residents
to the best of his ability and to offer help and support in any
way he can.
Mike Simmonds puts the interests and needs of Pendre residents
at the top of his agenda. He believes that is what local politics
and government should be about. He will continue to do his best
for the people of Pendre and asks for your support on May 1st.
