Jackie Radford Personal Manifesto

 

Originally born in Burton upon Trent in Staffordshire, Martin moved to Wales in 1996 to study at Glamorgan University where he obtained a BA (Hons) Combined Studies (Law, Criminology & Psychology). Since then Martin has moved to Maesteg and has worked and volunteered in a variety of fields, mainly working with the socially excluded and disadvantaged within society. This commitment led Martin to work for NCH Cymru until 2005 when Martin commenced his studies again studying for a MA Social Work.

Martin joined the Welsh Liberal Democrats back in 2004. Since then Martin has been a member of the Liberal Democrats Youth & Students, has become the Local Party Secretary and acting Local Party Chair.

Outside of politics Martin enjoys indoor climbing and watching rugby union. Martin also likes reading and watching movies and keeping up to date with his favourite sci-fi series. Finally, Martin has taken a keen interest in the teachings of the Religious Society of Friends.
