| As your Welsh Liberal Democrat
councillor, I, Carl Rees am seeking your support for re-election.
I am 47, married with three children and have lived in Blaengarw
for the last 25 years.
I have been your full time councillor since 2004 when I decided
to try and make a difference and stood for election. I was successful
and have been totally committed to serving the people of Blaengarw
since.
I have represented you at every opportunity afforded and have
always fought hard on your behalf - the residents of Blaengarw.
All concerns brought to my attention by local residents have been
responded to with commitment to get the best outcome possible.
I have a RECORD OF ACTION and give you a promise of more.
- Voted to save local Post Offices.
- Voted cut councillors allowances.
- Road resurfacing throughout the Garw Valley.
- Provision of litter bins.
- Kept Blaengarw Library OPEN.
- Kerbside recycling.
- 100% success rate of solving peoples problems.
- Successfully fought and won the refusal of MotoX track in Blaengarw.
If re-elected, I will remain committed to being open and ready
to work on your behalf and to serve the needs of Blaengarw. No
other councillor in the Garw Valley can claim a greater commitment
and harder work for their community instead of just pocketing
allowances like others.
