Blackmill

Dennis Day

Dennis is 64 and has been married for 44 years has two children.
He was born in Nantymoel, and worked in the local colliery (Wyndham/Western Colliery) for 28 years until its closure.

Dennis and his family moved to Blackmill eight years ago, taking over one of the local pubs (The Junction Blackmill)

They liked the locality and the people and decided it was where they wanted to spend the rest of their lives.

Dennis has never belonged to any political Party before, but feels strongly about the fact that the Blackmill constituency has had no opposition to Labour, for many years and the people have had no choice or say in who represents the community.

Liberal Democrats do not have a whip; they put YOUR interests first and do not have to vote as party bosses dictate.

In November Dennis will retire and if elected will be your full time councillor.
