BCBC says:
Porthcawl is the major tourist attraction in the County Borough of
Bridgend. Rest Bay is one of the finest surfing beaches in the United
Kingdom. It is absolutely wrong to consider blighting this area with
a wind farm that is of industrial proportions.
Whilst it is important to seek renewable
sources of energy it cannot be right to destroy the unspoilt beauty
of the Porthcawl seascape. The local economy will be devastated if
this area is perceived to have been industrialised, an alternative
location should be sought.
WE MUST LOBBY THE ASSEMBLY TO REFUSE
